High quality, sustainable development

Mecanova has been a pioneer in its field in the development of Quality and Environmental Management Systems. Mecanova’s quality system was granted ISO-9002 quality certification by Det Norske Veritas in 1996. Three years later the company was among the first in its field to receive ISO 14001 environmental certification.

Today, the quality and environmental management systems of all Mecanova plants are ISO certified.

We continuously develop our operations through the implementation of Six Sigma programmes. The quality rate of our processes is measured and monitored continuously by means of Statistical Process Control (SPC).

Environmental care is an integral part of the everyday activities of all of our units. Materials recycling, waste minimisation and careful use of raw materials are ways in which each Mecanova employee contributes to sustainable development.
